The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) is a premier higher-education institution.  The Academy provides young men and women opportunities to transform “into the leaders of tomorrow." As part of this establishment, the Academy educates students on cutting edge cybersecurity and information technology. LucidPoint helped the Academy choose a flexible, efficient, and elastic infrastructure to deliver hands-on training to their cadets. International Telco reduces costs and eliminates tapes

​How one company optimized their use of Google Cloud by leveraging
​LucidPoint’s Cloud Architecture Services.

​Within an international telecommunication provider's environment, storage of backup data within existing data centers was becoming inefficient and expensive. Rather than purchasing additional on-prem storage appliances, LucidPoint helped in the selection and implementation of cloud solutions through  Google Cloud Storage - Archive Tier to provide low-cost off-site storage for backup data. Native integration with the existing backup management software, Commvault, allowed for the Google Cloud based solution to be quickly adopted. LucidPoint helped implement security best practices including service account management and Cloud VPN technology to achieve a secure and serverless solution. The storage cloud solution continues to provide performant, secure, and elastic scale data storage while avoiding the ongoing maintenance of on-prem-based solutions.

In addition, LucidPoint partnered with them to streamline their Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment through the implementation of AWS Control Tower. This strategic initiative resulted in significant improvements in governance, security, and cost visibility, thanks to centralized logging, auditing, and consolidated savings plans. Automation initiatives further enhanced operational efficiency, establishing a scalable foundation that positions the company for continued growth and innovation.
